William "Dan" Daniel Sills

William Daniel “Dan” Sills, age 58, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.  Dan was born on June 25, 1964, in Huntington, IN, to Sandra (Boyles) Sills who survives in Tekonsha, MI.

Dan was a 1982 graduate of Huntington North High School.  He served in the United States Marines.  He worked maintenance for the Meijer Department stores and he attended The Well in Huntington.

Along with his mother, Sandra, he is survived by three brothers, Shawn Sills, Stacey Sills, both of Fort Wayne, IN, Tracey Sills, Columbia City, IN; one sister, Georgina Wininger, Huntington, IN; three nephews, Charles (Donna) Wininger, Huntington, IN, Logan Sills, Hunter Sills, both of Columbia City, IN; and two nieces, Danielle (Dean) Ross, Belton, TX, Sara (Caleb) Witta, Huntington, IN.

Dan was preceded in death by one brother, George William Sills, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 4:00 p.m., at McElhaney-Hart/Deal Rice Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, Indiana 46750.

A private burial will be at a later date at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.
