William “Bill” H. Ott, age 79, of Huntington, IN,passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn, IN.
Bill was born on December 1, 1946, in Huntington, IN,to the late George F. and Rose I. (Dailey) Ott.
Bill was a 1965 graduate of Huntington High School. He served in the United States Army from 1968-1971. He was a member of the American Legion Post #85.
Bill is survived by his children; Shelby (Erik) Madsen of Holt, MI; and Tim (Laura) Ott of Brownsboro, AL; and grandchildren: Layne (Jenna) Neal, Jordan Neal, Audra Neal, Lorelei Madsen, Emalee Ott, Carson Ott, Jake Madsen, and Kyle Madsen.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
Burial will be at Gardens of Memory, Marion, IN.
