Vickie Lea (Martin) Plasterer

Vickie Lea Plasterer, age 70, of Bluffton, IN, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Ossian Healthcare, Ossian, IN.  

Vickie was born on October 28, 1953, in New Orleans, LA. She married Phil Plasterer on December 24, 1999, and he survives and resides in Bluffton, IN.

Vickie held a degree in business management and was a past member of the Rotary Club in Huntington; and member of the Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton.

Along with her husband, Phil, she is survived by one son, Adolfo (Cashel) Rodriguez, Abita Springs, LA; one daughter, Teresa (Michael) Morales, Gretna, LA; one brother, John Martin, New Orleans, LA; 6 sisters, Deborah Hale, Jacksonville, Fl, Mary Keller, Lafayette, LA, Deanie Coulter, Yellville, AR, Lilli Bernstein, Sealey, TX, Pamela Martin, Austin, TX, Julie Martin, Austin, TX; and 8 granddaughters, Angelina, Sophia, Jillian, Madeline, Genevieve, Aurelia, Gwendolyn and Felicity.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Martin; and one sister, Barbara Martin.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a 1:00 p.m. Memorial Service at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 1000 Flaxmill Road, Huntington, IN, 46750.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Donor’s choice in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
