Timothy Gene Gillenwater, 57, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN. Tim was born on October 2, 1965, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Galen A. and Mary (Gasper) Gillenwater. He married Sharon Nusbaum on November 27, 1992. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2020.
Tim was a warehouse worker at Autoliv North America in Columbia City, IN. He was also an Assistant Pastor at First Freewill Baptist Church in Huntington.
Tim is survived one daughter, Mary Virginia Gillenwater, Huntington, IN; two brothers, Galen L. Gillenwater, Albion, IN, William A. (Laura) Gillenwater, Fort Wayne, IN; step-brother, Eugene Goen, TX; and one step-sister, Amy (Chuck) Duemhig, Avilla, IN.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service at First Freewill Baptist Church, 1805 Salamonie Avenue, Huntington, IN.
A private burial will be at a later date at Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery.
