Thomas R. Maxwell, 64, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.

Thomas was born on March 9, 1954, in Atlanta, GA, to Jimmy and Nelli (Hammet) Maxwell. His parents preceded him in death. He married Pamela Steward in 1984, and she survives and resides in Huntington, IN.

Thomas served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had retired from Beckler Power Equipment. He was a member of American Legion Post #85, Huntington, IN.

Thomas is survived by two daughters, Lutora Waters, Ocala, FL, Paula Easterday, Huntington, IN; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother.

To honor the wishes of Thomas there will be no calling or service hours.

Memorials can be made to the Thomas Maxwell family to help defray costs in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.

A private burial will be at a later date.
