Thomas J. Babb, Sr.

Thomas J. Babb, Sr., age 62, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.

Thomas was born on April 21, 1958, in Huntington, IN, to Harold and Maxine (Rupert) Babb.  His parents preceded him in death.

Thomas was a graduate of Huntington North High School in 1976.  He was a factory worker at International Harvester, M&S Sheet Metal, and later Hayes Wheels.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid deer hunter, Cincinnati Reds and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Thomas is survived by three sons, Thomas (Renee) Babb, Jr., Dustin (Karry) Babb, both of Huntington, IN, Kenny Babb, Fort Wayne, IN.  He is also survived by one brother, Gene Babb, Anderson, IN, three sisters, Linda Larkey, Warren, IN, Bonnie Spencer, Huntington, Betty (Don) Ware, Andrews, IN; and 8 grandchildren, Karygan, Korbin, Kason, Kendalyn, Gavin, Koby, Hayden, and Christopher Babb.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Babb.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m., at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN with Pastor Micah Mobley officiating.

Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
