Thomas N. Allgeier

Thomas N. Allgeier, age 87, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at St. Anne Community Victory Noll, Huntington, IN.  

Tom was born on February 25, 1936, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Robert and Catherine Ruth (Murphy) Allgeier.  His first marriage was to Mary Suzanne Worley His Second marriage was to Phyllis Zollinger Paul, they both preceded him in death.

Tom graduated from Central Catholic High School, Fort Wayne, IN.  He graduated from Xavier University with a BA in business.  Tom worked for Massachusetts Mutual as a Branch Manager for 25 years, then went to Three Rivers Barricade as bookkeeper for 10 years.  He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Roanoke, IN. Tom loved animals, gardening, and antiques.

He is survived by six children: Leslie (Gordon) Moodie, Paris, TX, Linda (Randy) Adams, New Waverly, TX. Karen Paul, Portland, ME, Jill Brown, Huntington, IN, Michael (Lily) Allgeier, Saint Croix, Virgin Islands and Joseph (April) Paul, San Antonio TX.  One sister Judi Andorfer Georgia.

14 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Along with his parents and 2 wives he was preceded in death by one Sister Annie Jur.

Celebration of Life Mass will be held Friday 10:30 am January 26, 2024, at Saint Anne Community Victory Noll Chapel 25 Victory Noll Drive Huntington, IN  46750.

Interment will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Heartland Hospice or Saint Anne Community Victory Noll in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
