Terri M. Taylor, age 75, of Roanoke, IN, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Coventry Meadows Nursing Home, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mrs. Taylor was born on October 14, 1947, in Three Rivers, MI, to Oscar and June (Dodd) Grant. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Taylor married Larry ‘Tiny’ Taylor on November 22, 1969, in White Pigeon; MI. Larry preceded her in death on April 13, 2011.
Terri graduated from White Pigeon High School in Michigan in 1965. She was a retired hairdresser and owned Terri’s Hair Design in Roanoke for over 40 years. Terri was a member of the Seminary United Methodist Church in Roanoke and also a member of American Legion #160.
Terri is survived by two sons, Chad (Monica) Taylor, Columbia City, IN, Brandon (Jasmin) Taylor, Roanoke, IN; one brother, Don (Sue) Grant, White Pigeon, MI; two sisters, Karen (Earl) Parker, Sturgis, MI, and Janice Marciniack, Dimondale, MI. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jaren (Kassy) Taylor, Autumn Taylor, Courtney Taylor, Austin Taylor, and Wyatt Taylor; and one great grandchild, Avery Taylor.
Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at McElhaney Funeral Home – Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr. Roanoke, IN 46783.
Additional calling will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at McElhaney Funeral Home – Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr. Roanoke, IN 46783, with Rev. Heather Bunnell officiating.
Burial will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Roanoke Volunteer Fire Department and/or the Thorncreek Township Fire Department in Whitley County in care of McElhaney Funeral Home – Roanoke Chapel 240 Crestwood Dr. Roanoke, IN 46783
