Tami K. (Powell) Dalton

Tami K. Dalton, age 66, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Parkview Regional in Fort Wayne, IN.

Tami was born on August 20, 1956, in Huntington, IN, to Wayne Powell and Sondra (Teusch) Powell. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives and resides in Huntington.  Tami married Tim Dalton on June 7, 1980, and he survives and resides in Huntington.

Tami was a 1974 graduate of Huntington North High School.  She was in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntington.  Tami was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her grandkids.

Along with her husband, Tim; and her mother, Sondra; she is survived by two sons, Joel (Desire) Dalton, Portland, TN, Alex (Tabitha) Dalton, Huntington, IN; two brothers, Scott Powell, Ormond Beach, FL, Rod (Judy) Powell, Fort Wayne, IN; two sisters, Jodi (Sam) PeGan, Huntington, IN, Shawn (Matt) Zimmerman, Ellicott City, MD; and 6 grandchildren, June, Reese, Aida, Zoey, Elijah and Evan.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Fr. Thomas Zehr officiating.

A private burial will be at a later date.
