Susan C. (Bauer) Beshay

Susan C. (Bauer) Ritz Beshay, 69, of Anderson, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away on February 11, 2019, at her residence in Anderson, IN.

Ms. Beshay was born on June 20, 1949, to Leonard W. and Catherine (Scher) Bauer in Huntington, IN.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Beshay graduated from Huntington Catholic High School in 1967, then went on to Ball State University and received her MBA.   Susan was a Speech Therapist and owned her own business in Muncie called Village Speech & Hearing.  Susan was nominated and given the great honor to be named “Woman of the Year “ in Muncie, IN.

Susan is survived by one son, Bryan Ritz, Whitestown, IN; one daughter Cheyanne Ritz (Drew Buckingham),  Cary, NC; three sisters;  Sister Colleen Bauer SSND, Goshen, IN, Peggy (Peter) Bray, West Bend, WI, and Sheila Bauer (Lorne Pickford). New Orleans, LA.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Doug Bauer and one sister Marla Bauer.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at McElhaney – Hart Funeral Home, 715 North Jefferson St., Huntington, IN, 46750.

Funeral Services will follow calling at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Father Dale Bauman presiding.

Burial will follow service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Roanoke, IN.
