Steven "Fito" C. Feighner

Steven “Fito” C. Feighner, age 72, of Huntington, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at his daughter’s residence in Huntington.

Steve was born on July 14, 1952, in Huntington, IN, to the late Charley W. and Lucille (Carroll) Feighner.

Steve was a 1970 graduate of Huntington North High School and attended barber school. He worked in maintenance and ran shears at Wayne Metals for 40 years.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 85.  Steve enjoyed riding his Harley and played guitar in a band with Cliff Till and Stan Bauer for many years.

Steve is survived by his two daughters, Heather (David) Bowman, Huntington, IN, Karri Feighner, Fort Wayne, IN; two grandchildren, Nathan Bowman and Addison Bowman; one niece, Tammi (Tim) Drabenstot; one nephew, Scott (Misty) Poe, both of Huntington, IN; and his fur grand dogs, Mollie, Lucy, and Marley.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Feighner; one sister, Kathy Hemker; and one niece, Judy Feighner.

To honor the wishes of Steve there will be no services.

A private burial will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN, at a later date.
