Stacey L. Briggs, age 51, of Muncie, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at his residence.
Stacey was born on August 27, 1972, in Wabash, IN, to the late Jay R. and M. Marie (Frewer) Briggs.
Stacey was a 1990 graduate of Huntington North High School and a graduate of Ball State University. He was a Sales Consultant with Victory Honda of Muncie and was a former band director for many years. Stacey was an excellent saxophone player and enjoyed playing in “The Unknown Jazz Quintet” in Muncie.
Stacey is survived by one son, Keaton Briggs; two daughters, Makenna Briggs and Cadence Briggs, all of Modoc, IN; one sister, Susan (Phil) Brown, Huntington, IN; and two nephews, Aric (Madelyn) Brown, Indianapolis, IN, and Jordan (Hailey) Brown, Franklin, IN.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
A private interment will be held at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
