Shirley Sue Hadley

Shirley Sue Hadley, age 84, formally of Huntington, IN, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Heritage Pointe of Warren.

Shirley was born on April 19, 1940, in Huntington, IN, to the late Gerald Eugene Hadley and Arvetta “Duckie” (Kline) Lewis.

Shirley had worked at HK Porter as an Inspector and Memcor as an inspector and blaster.  She worked at Curtain Productions assembling books and she had also been a daycare provider.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 85 and VFW Auxiliary.

Shirley is survived by one daughter, Kim Worthington; two grandchildren, Tiffany (Walt) Lyons, Kyle Worthington; and 2 great-grandchildren, Josh and Jason Lyons.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.

Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion, IN.
