Sheila Dorothy (Calligan) Drake

Sheila Dorothy Drake, age 92, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at her residence.  

Mrs. Drake was born on February 19, 1931, in Durham, England to the late James and Jane (Garnett) Calligan.  She married Kevin Drake on September 10, 1955, and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2017.

Sheila retired from Bircraft after 13 years.  She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington, IN.

Sheila is survived by one son, Nicholas (Kym) Drake, Reno, NV; two daughters, Geraldine (Bob) Ehinger, Fort Wayne, IN, Sharon Kaiser, Huntington, IN; four brothers; five sisters; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. 

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Keenan Kaiser.

A private Memorial Mass at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery will be held at a later date.
