Sharon Rose (Dinius) Rethlake

Sharon Rose Rethlake, 86, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. 

Sharon was born on June 6, 1936, in Huntington, IN, to the late Justin and Catherine (Schwartz) Dinius. She married John “Jack” Rethlake on June 22, 1957, and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2004.

Sharon was a 1954 graduate of Huntington High School.  She was a payroll specialist for Majestic, Huntington County Community Schools, Flower Memorial Hospital in Ohio, and retired from Pathfinder Services in Huntington.  She was an active member of Sigma Beta Sorority and the Huntington Metro Kiwanis.

Sharon is survived by two daughters, Susan (Joe) Wright, Findlay, OH, Ann (Jon Brinneman) Rethlake, Andrews, IN; one brother, James (Rita) Dinius; one sister, Judy DeLuca, both of Huntington, IN.  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Graham (Rachael) Wright, Molly (Blake) Mealer, Hailey (Jesse) Tompkins, Clint Tompkins, Meredith Rethlake and Chloe Wright.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Rethlake; and one granddaughter, Chelsea Rethlake.

To honor the wishes of Sharon there will be no services.

There will be a private burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
