Shane Alan Grover,45, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, IN.
Shane was born on April 16, 1975, in Huntington, IN, to Jerry Grover and Judy (McHenry) Helvie. His mother preceded him in death.
Shane worked at Huntington Asphalt for 21 years and he was a member of American Legion Post #85.
Shane is survived by his father Jerry Grover, Huntington, IN; one daughter, Lauren Grover, Huntington, IN; two brothers, Thomas Grover, Huntington, IN, and Ted (Brandi) Grover, Urbana, IN; and four sisters, Tammy (Monte) Davis, Huntington, IN, Heidi Jackson, Tipton, IN, Micki (Dave) Massicotte, Cicero, IN, and Priscilla (Grant) Beaumont, Cicero, IN. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by one niece, Mariah Jackson.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McElhaney- Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.
Additional calling will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at McElhaney- Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN with Ed Hippensteel officiating.
A burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Andrews, IN.
