Scott Nelson Little, 53, Huntington, IN passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at his residence.
Scott was born on December 7, 1968, in Huntington, IN, to Mary Jean Bair and Ernest Little who both survive in Huntington. Scott married his high school sweetheart, Tamra “Tami” Snodgrass Little on July 27, 1987. She survives and resides in Huntington.
Scott was a 1987 graduate of Huntington North High School. He was a self-employed contractor and artist. He attended Life Church in Huntington for over 15 years. Scott loved music and dancing and he didn’t know a stranger. His family and friends meant everything to him and above all he loved Jesus. Some of Scott’s favorite sayings, “It is what it is” and “It’s going to be okay”. A favorite verse of Scott’s is, Hebrews 11:1 - “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Along with his parents and wife of almost 35 years, Tami, he is survived by one son, Nelson (Charity) Little; one daughter, Talitha (Mathew) Paul, both of Huntington; three brothers, Todd Little, Ernie (Traci) Little, Sean (Debbie) Little, all of Huntington; one half-brother, Josh Little, FL; two half-sisters, Megan Anderson, Erin Working, both of Huntington; in-laws, Bob and Alice Snodgrass, Huntington, IN; 6 grandchildren that he dearly loved, Noah, Riley, Hudson, Connar, Owen and Harmony; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service celebrating Scott’s life at 4:00 p.m. at Life Church, 900 E State Street, Huntington, IN, with Pastor Mike Hill officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Grandchildren of Scott with checks made to Mathew Paul, in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
A private burial will be at a later date at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
