Scott E. Gray

Scott E. Gray, age 54, of Andrews, IN, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  

Scott was born on September 22, 1970, in Huntington, IN, to F. Dale and Diana (Ludwig) Gray, Jr.  His father preceded him in death in 2024, and his mother survives in Warren, IN.

Scott graduated from Huntington North High School in 1989, and then proudly served in the United States Navy.  He was a CNC Machinist Supervisor at Precision Manufacturing and had also worked as a flight attendant for five years for United Airlines. Scott enjoyed long rides on his Harley Davidson and was an avid golfer and bowler.  

Along with his mom, Scott is survived by two brothers, Jeffrey (Sue) Gray, Andrews, IN, Steven (Cindy) Gray, Huntington, IN; two sisters, Shelly (Mike) Piqune, Warren, IN, Sandy (Neil) Brooks, Huntington, IN; 8 nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; and his beloved kitty’s, Emmy and Gracie.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m., with Rev. Gerald Moreland officiating at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.

A private burial will be at a later date.
