Sarah E. (Comstock) McComb

Sarah E. McComb, age 68, of Fort Wayne, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Majestic Care of Jefferson Pointe in Fort Wayne.       

Sarah was born on August 12, 1956, in Hartford City, IN, to the late Robert and Hertha (Warren) Comstock. 

Sarah was a 1973 graduate of Elmhurst High School.  She worked at Lowes hardware stores in commercial sales, plumbing and electrical.  Sarah enjoyed reading, sewing and gardening.

Sarah is survived by two daughters, Danielle Wehrle, Churubusco, IN, Angela (Kevin) Steeves, Edmonton Alberta, Canada; one brother, John Comstock, Fort Wayne, IN; two nephews, Jonathan (Marilyn) Comstock, Jeffrey (Rachel) Comstock; one niece, Whitney Comstock; and her longtime companion, Bill Ott, Huntington, IN.

To honor the wishes of Sarah, there will be no services or calling hours.    

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN  46750.

A private burial will be at a later date.
