Sandra K. (Fryback) Mishler

Sandra K. Mishler, age 73, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. 

Sandra was born on April 21, 1952, in Niles, MI, to the late Donald Swaim and Victorine (Hegerfeld) Fryback. She married Stephen Mishler and he preceded her in death.

Sandra graduated from Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne.  Sandra helped her parents run their tavern in Fort Wayne called Bob's Sports Bar for many years.  She loved Elvis and collected Angels.  She adored her children and grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by a daughter, Kandra (Scott) Keller, Huntington, IN; one son, Richard W. (Marissa) Brown, III, West Palm Beach, FL; two sisters, Sharon and Laura; 7 grandchildren, Crissa, Taya, Andrew (Katie), Cheyanne, Austin, Kylee, Grayson; and 14 great-grandchildren, Aliana, Gracelind, Bentley, Lily, Remington, Gavin, Gray, Xandar, Callie, Ava, Emerson, Colton, Brewer and Kimberlynn.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen and Wally; and her aunt, Evelyn Platt.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.

A  private burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Ossian, IN.
