Robert E. Wilson

Robert (Bob) E. Wilson, 85, of Huntington, IN, passed away on July 5, 2024, at Parkview Huntington Hospital, Huntington, IN                                    

Mr. Wilson was born on November 18, 1938, in Wabash, IN to Clarence and LeElla (Moore) Wilson. His parents preceded him in death.

Bob was a truck driver for Hiner Transport and International Harvester. He was a member of Church of the Brethren Church, Huntington, IN.

Bob is survived by his former spouse and caregiver, Rosalyn Wilson; one son, Rodney Wilson; one daughter, Renee (Tim) Ness, all of Huntington, IN; one sister, Jane Polly, Fort Wayne, IN; 4 grandchildren Jeremiah (Melissa) Wilson, Levi (Beth) Wilson, Nitra (Brandon) Wilson and Andy Ness; and 3 great grandchildren Piper, Nora and Theodore.

  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Anne Mae Kirkpatrick, and Geraldine Wilson.

  Calling hours will be Friday, July, 12, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.

Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am  at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. with Reverend Timothy Troyer officiating.

Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion, IN.
