Robert G. Shumate

Robert G. Shumate, age 79, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.

Robert was born on July 18, 1943, in Roderfield, WV. He was married to Roxanna Bowers for 54 years and was married on June 15, 1968.

Robert served in the United States Army as a paratrooper.  He worked for the City of Huntington for over 20 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Mizpah Shriners.

Robert will be sadly missed by his wife Roxanna and two sons, Matt and Clint.

To honor the wishes of Robert there will be no services.

A private burial will be at a later date at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
