Robert S. Pearce

Robert S. Pearce, 79, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.

Robert was born on May 5, 1941, in Portsmouth, VA, to Joseph and Sally (Swindell) Pearce.  His parents preceded him in death.   Robert married Era Anderson and recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Robert worked many years for the Federal government and worked in a naval shipyard and did basic overhauls on submarines.  He and his wife, Era, were professional miniature enthusiasts and traveled many places to do shows.

Along with his wife, Era, he is survived by two sons, Robert, Jr. “Bobby” (Debra) Pearce, Chesapeake, VA, Charles “Chuck” (Tina) Pearce, Seattle, WA; one daughter, Katherine “Paige” (Scott) Humphrey, Huntington, IN; one brother, Jim (Carol) Pearce, Chesterfield, MO; 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Britton.

To honor the wishes of Robert there will be no calling or services.

A private burial will be at a later date.
