Robert Texeria Osorio, 66, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. 

Robert was born June 8, 1955, in San Francisco, CA, to Larry and Maria (Texeria) Osorio. His parents preceded him in death. He married Tammy Marie Osorio on October 19, 1998, and she survives in Huntington.

Robert proudly served his Country for 24 years in the United States Army. He then worked as a truck driver for 24 years with 12 years working for Knight Transportation, which he loved.  He was passionate about being a truck driver, loved seeing the country, and just loved his job. He absolutely loved his grandkids, the San Francisco 49ers, the Giants, NASCAR and attending car shows.  Robert will be missed dearly!!

Along with his wife of 24 years, Tammy, he is also survived by his sons, Rodney (Rika) Osorio, Daniel (Jennifer) Osorio, Chad Herrberg, Roberto Villa; daughters, Adelina (Shane) Carter, Kristin Crisman, Karrie Ratliff, Kassandra Treyweek (Craig); 8 grandchildren, Sherri, Tony, Mary (Firecracker), Hayden, Hunter, Roberto, Elise, Coraline; and one great granddaughter, Winter Rose. He is also survived by brothers, Larry (Teri) Osorio, David (Arlene) Osorio; and sisters, Debbie Miller, Penny Osorio.  

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the donor’s favorite charity in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
