Robert Paul Kaltenmark

Robert Paul Kaltenmark, age 86, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Waters of Huntington.

Robert was born on September 23, 1938, in Huntington, IN, to the late Robert  H. and Pauline C. (Lahr) Kaltenmark. Robert married Marilyn J. Cayot on April 23, 1960, at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington.  Marilyn survives and resides in Huntington.

Bob graduated from Huntington High School in 1957. Bob served with the Indiana Air National Guard in Fort Wayne and was called to active duty in November 1961, serving 9 months in Chambley, France during the Berlin Crisis. Bob was employed by Our Sunday Visitor/Noll Printing in Huntington for 34 years. After retiring from the printing trade, he spent several "fun" years working for the DNR at the Huntington Reservoir.

Bob was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus member with Council #1014, a member of the American Legion  Post #85, a member of the Air Force Association, and a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

Along with his wife, Marilyn, Bob is survived by one daughter, Sheri M. (Sean) McBride, Fort Wayne, IN; two sons, Douglas R. Kaltenmark, GA, Eric M. (LaVonne) Kaltenmark, Greenville, TN; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert McManama; and great-grandson, Aiden.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. all at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Fr. Oscar Duarte presiding.

The burial will follow Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
