Ricky Nelson Roth

Ricky Nelson Roth, 63, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor East in Wabash, IN.

Ricky was born on August 12, 1957, in Bay City, MI, to Walter and Rosie (Rosebrock) Roth.  His parents preceded him in death.

Ricky graduated from TL Handy High School in Bay City, MI.  He retired from General Motors in Fort Wayne. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Nora Roth, Huntington; one son, Christopher (Christine) Roth, North Manchester, IN; one daughter, Melissa (Ricky) Ross, Huntington, IN; one brother, Bob (Valerie) Roth, Lancaster, OH; three sisters, Judy (Emil) Stender, Huntington, IN, Mary Bosco and Shirley Mikula both of Bay City, MI; and six grandchildren, Frank Roth, John Roth, Caedmon Roth, Oliver Roth, Molly Ross and Ryder Ross.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Miller.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday August 26, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, with Pastor Gus Hacker officiating. 

A private burial will be at a later date in Floral Gardens Cemetery, Bay City, MI.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to NAMI Fort Wayne (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
