Richard "Rick" A. Newell, II

Richard “Rick” A. Newell, II,  age 62, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.

Rick was born on August 28, 1961, in Huntington, IN, to the late Richard A. and Zelma (Greenwell) Newell.   

Rick was a 1979 graduate of Huntington North High School. He worked as a Robotics maintenance supervisor for many years. Rick loved boating, swimming, hanging by the pool and being with his family and grandkids. Rick’s doberman, Sady, was his best friend for many years and brought tremendous joy to him.

Rick is survived by one daughter, Angie Bartrom, Huntington, IN; stepson, Chad Keith; one sister, Kay Hildman, Columbia City, IN; and three granddaughters, Lexi, Melody and Kimora.

To honor the wishes of Rick there will be no services.
