Richard Finton, age 76, of Markle, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Markle Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Richard was born on June 8, 1947, in Wabash County, IN, to the late Augusta and Vera (Logan) Finton.
Richard attended First Baptist Church and enjoyed music by Elvis.
Richard is survived by two brothers, William (Betty) Finton, Huntington, IN, James (Ruth) Finton, Fort Wayne, IN; one sister-in-law, Janet Finton, Huntington, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Dave Finton, Harold Finton; and two sisters, Doris Blessing and Marge Shenefield.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.
A burial with a Graveside Service will immediately follow the calling hours at 12:15 p.m., at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN, with Rev. Dianna Teusch officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Huntington County in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
