Ray Mote Obituary

Ray A. Mote, age 70, Andrews, IN, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Ray was born on April 29, 1952, in Huntington, Indiana, to Robert E. and Rosemary (Slone) Mote. His parents preceded him in death.

Ray was a mechanic for many years before his retirement. He was an avid Nascar race fan and also enjoyed driving late model cars and modified track racing.

Ray is survived by three daughters, Beverly (Jason) Schneeweiss, Chatsworth, IL, Mary Ann Beer (John Barbour, Jr.), Wingo, KY, Janice (Matt) Frechmann, Rockford, IL; four brothers, Terry Slone, Wabash, IN, Charlie Mote, WI, James Mote, AR, Donny Mote, WI; five grandchildren and four great grandchild.

To honor the wishes of Ray there will be no services or calling hours.

A private graveside will be at a later date.
