Randall J. "Randy" Hine

Randall J. “Randy” Hine, 63, of Huntington and formerly of Roanoke, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at his home.  He graduated from Huntington North High School in 1977, and worked for C&M Plating, Triad-Utrad, and for over 37 years as a printer at Our Sunday Visitor.  He enjoyed being outdoors, and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and kayaker. 

Randy was born January 4, 1959, in Huntington, the son of Marion S. “Bus” and Emma Jane (Platt) Hine.  He is survived by two Aunts Lorene Gregory of Butler and Connie (Sam) Platt of Fort Wayne, numerous cousins, and his friends and co-workers at Our Sunday Visitor.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

To fulfill Randy’s wishes a private burial will take place at Glenwood Cemetery.

Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes is entrusted with the arrangements.
