Philip E. Walker

Philip Eugene Walker, 75, Huntington, IN, passed away on May 21, 2025 at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Philip was born on January 22, 1950, in Huntington, IN, to Volney and Mildred (Smart) Walker. They preceded him in death.

Philip worked as a Sheetmetal worker for over 20 years at Majestic in Huntington.

He is survived by two daughters, Billie (Todd) James, Michelle Sills (Dewaine Decker), both of Huntington, IN; one brother, David (Bonnie) Walker, Huntington, IN; one sister, Janet (Don) Cox, Huntington, IN; 5 grandchildren Brandon Decker, Tonisha James, Kyler Decker Kirsten Walker and 5 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Philip Scott Walker Jan. 25, 2022; one brother, Terry Van Buskirk; one sister, Sheila Huffman; and one grandson, Levi James.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2025 at New Hope United Brethren Church 2001 Engle St. Huntington, IN 46750 from 10:00 am to 12 noon with service to follow at noon with Pastor Amos Rawley officiating.

A private burial will be at a later date.
