Norma Duncan Kitt, 94, of Pittsboro, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at her daughter’s residence.
Mrs. Kitt was born on August 22, 1926, in Fort Worth, TX, to Frederick E. and Lilah (Griffith) Duncan. Her parents preceded her in death. She married C. William Kitt on May 13, 1945. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1988.
Mrs. Kitt graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1943. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a church choir member for over 30 years. She enjoyed golfing, reading and tennis.
Mrs. Kitt is survived by three daughters: Susan (Steve) Landrum, Huntington, IN, Sandy Maples, Pittsboro, IN, Sarah (Gerry) Searles, Alvarado, TX; 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Ellen Kitt and two brothers, Kenneth Duncan and Denzil Duncan.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 50 E. Tipton Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Pastor John Beehler officiating.
Due to the current Executive Order, masks and social distancing are required at the funeral service and burial.
Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
