Mary Magdalene (Mag) Conley, 77, of Huntington, IN, passed away at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Conley was born on June 18, 1942, in Lower John’s Creek, KY, to Ferrell and Viola (Hamilton) King. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Brunk Conley on March 7, 1964, in Hilton, NY, he survives in Huntington.
Mag attended Lower John’s Creek High School in Kentucky and worked at Wabash Technologies in Huntington. Mag was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church, Huntington, IN, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed gardening, tending to her many flowers, and bird watching. But the mountains of Kentucky is what she enjoyed the most. She was the best nanny and loved spending time with her nine grandkids, and six great grandkids.
Along with her husband, Brunk, she is survived by a son, Mark (Jenelle) Conley, Huntington; three daughters, Teresa Jill (Mark) Crews, Huntington, Ellen Clevinger, Huntington and Diana Conley, Fort Wayne; one brother, David King, Lower John’s Creek, KY; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Conley; son-in-law, Merlin Clevinger and her ten siblings.
Calling hours will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2020, at First Freewill Baptist Church, 1803 Salamonie Ave., Huntington, IN.
Additional calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m., at First Freewill Baptist Church, 1803 Salamonie Ave., Huntington, IN.
Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
