Mary Therese Turner, age 69, Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Envive of Huntington.
Mary was born on November 16, 1954, in San Diego, CA, to the late Thomas and Kathleen (Raifsnider) Naugle.
Mary was a 1972 Valedictorian of Our Lady of Peace Academy, San Diego, CA, and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and was a script writer for Hannah Barbero in California. She wrote for famous cartoon shows such as The Smurfs, Beatle Juice, Alvin & the Chipmunks and Tiny Toon Adventures. She was a nominee for the 1989 Writers Award. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, in Huntington, IN, and a member of the Widows of Prayer.
Mary is survived by one brother, Michael Naugle, Wabash, IN; and one sister, Mary Patricia Anasti, Burbank, CA.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., all at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
A private burial will be at Falls Cemetery, Wabash, IN.
