Marilyn S. Fleischman, age 72, of Roanoke, IN, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Marilyn was born on July 3, 1953, in Bluffton, IN, to the late Max R. and Wava (Sheets) Miller. She married Gordon R. “Dick” Fleischman in 1987, and he resides in Roanoke.
Marilyn was a 1971 graduate of Huntington North High School and also a graduate of Indiana University where she received a bachelor’s degree in education and business. Marilyn was a bookkeeper for Lassus Fuels for 17 years and a school cook for Norwell High School. She was a member of Seminary United Methodist Church in Roanoke and a Boy and Girl Scouts troop leader for many years.
Along with her husband, Dick, she is survived by two sons, Brian (Nicole) Fleischman, Fort Wayne, IN, Travis Fleischman, Roanoke, IN; one daughter, Annamarie Louise Fleischman; one brother Kevin (Cindy) Miller, Elkhart, IN; and her grandchildren, Faith, Maggie, Allie, Noah, Collin, and Hope.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Seminary United Methodist Church, 285 Seminary Street, Roanoke, IN, with Rev. Ashley Doster officiating.
A private burial will be at a later date.
