Margaret "Margo" Ann (Van Wyk) Johnson

Margaret Ann “Margo” Johnson, age 82, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at her residence. Margaret was born on May 29, 1942, in Newaygo County, MI, to the late Jacob and Doris (Pope) Van Wyk. She married James E. Johnson on January 3, 1981, and he survives in Huntington.

Margaret was a homemaker and had retired from Wabash Magnetics.  She enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking.

Along with her husband, Jim, she is survived by 7 sons, John Price, Warren, IN, Larry “Butch” (Karen) Price, Huntington, IN, Mark (Londa) Price, LA, Dennis (Mitzi) Price, Salem, IN, Todd (Kathy) Johnson, Tracy Johnson, Roger Johnson, all of Huntington, IN; three daughters, Lorie (Kenny) Foust, Andrews, IN, Pam (Sam) Stouder, Huntington, IN, Trina Johnson, Phoenix, AR; one sister, Judy Rosenberger, FL; 17 grandchildren, Jay, Telinda, Trisha, Sandra, Brandi, Joshua, Rochelle, Joseph, Jacob, Michelle, Anthony, Kelsey, Devan, Joey, Emma, James, Andrew; and many great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Merlin “Jack” Van Wyk, Arthur Van Wyk; and one grandson, Jeffrey Price.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Pastor Jason Fields officiating.

Burial will be at Monument City Memorial Cemetery, Andrews, Indiana.
