M. Elnova (Williams) Davis

M. Elnova Davis, age 94, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Waters of Huntington.

Elnova was born in 1929 to the late Harlan and Erma (Fancon) Williams. In 1948, she married Ray Davis who preceded her in death in 2005.

Elnova worked at Huntington Memorial Hospital, Huntington, IN; Singer Controls, North Manchester, IN; and Stumps, South Whitley, IN. She played an active role in her husband’s ministries at Calvary Church, Bippus; Bethel Church, Andrews; Clear Creek Church, Huntington; and Collamer Church, Collamer, IN. She was a hard-working wife and mom, an avid vegetable gardener, and a talented seamstress.

Elnova is survived by one son, Thomas (DesaRee); and four daughters, DeLynn (Matthew), Michele, Colette, and Lori.

Elnova is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Ann (Kenn), Adam (Kelly), Lydia (Tim), Eli, Cyndi (Shane), Jason (Melissa), Andrea (Violet), Douglas (Emma), Clayton (Allison), James M., Jeremiah (Traci), Tavis, Nick, Josh, Dakota (Steven); 17 great-grandchildren, Cassie, Lizzie, Isabelle, Chelsea (Jordan), Halle, Amanda (Aaron), Holden, Elyse, Rylan, Delaney, Vanessa (James), Charlie, Lexi (Seth), Dylan (Stevie), Ashlyn (Carson), Nathaniel, Ray; 6 great-great grandchildren, Theo, Leighton, Malcom, Roman, Atlas, Nova; two bonus grandchildren, Miho, Carly (Jeremiah); and three bonus great-grandchildren, Augustis, Sebastian and Evelyn.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy and sister, Lois.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 7955 N – 900 W, Huntington, IN, on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Kuel officiating.  A lunch will follow at the Bippus Lions Community Building provided by the Calvary United Methodist Church.

A private burial will be at a later date.
