Lloyd “Red” Wayne McClure, age 88, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at his residence in Huntington.
Red was born on February 13, 1937, in Roanoke, IN, to the late Lloyd Franklin and Velma Rena (Patten) McClure. Red married Mary “Bethie” Scheiber in 1955 and she preceded him in death in 1988. His second marriage was to Suzy Lahr on July 7, 1989, and she survives and resides in Huntington.
Red was a 1955 graduate of Roanoke High School. He retired from GE and later from United Technologies. He enjoyed being a horse farmer. Red was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntington.
Along with his wife, Suzy, he is survived by 7 children; and several grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.
A private graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke, IN.
