Lillian Arlene (Scott) Borland

Lillian Arlene Borland, age 94, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Markle Health & Rehabilitation Center, Markle, IN.

Lillian was born on October 18, 1928, in Alpena, MI, to the late Douglas Robert and Charlotte (Benson) Scott. She married William James Borland on June 3, 1950, and he preceded her in death on February 26, 2008.

 Lillian was a high school and college graduate and was a Registered Nurse. She retired as an Occupational Health Nurse for Pontiac Motor Division General Motors Corporation in Michigan.  She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Elk Rapids, MI.

 Lillian is survived by one son, Robert (wife, Dale) Borland, Huntington, IN; and three triplet grandchildren, Charlotte, Robert and William Borland.

 Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Borland; and brother, Douglas Scott.

To honor the wishes of Lillian there will be no services.

 A private burial will be held at a later date in Michigan.
