Laurie L. Willis-Corbett, age 62, of Roanoke, IN, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at her home.
Laurie was born on January 28, 1961,in Washington D.C., to the late Kenneth E. Willis and Kathryn (Wolgamott) Chamberlain.
Laurie received her master’s degree in computer science from Ball State University and worked at Sallie Mae for many years. Laurie enjoyed horses and her dogs, working on computers and was definitely a people person and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Laurie is survived by her long-time companion, Joe Hayes, Roanoke, IN; one son, Cody Maze (Jess Lea), Bluffton, IN; two sisters, Kim (Ron) Armstrong, Noblesville, IN; Beth Johnston, Fishers, IN; two grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews; and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Troy Chamberlain.
To honor the wishes of Laurie there will be no services.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
