Larry A. Boyd, age 76, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
Larry was born on July 27, 1948, in Huntington, IN, to the late Edward E. and Mary C. (Miller) Boyd. He married Pamela Drummond on May 11, 1968, and she survives and resides in Huntington.
Larry was a 1966 graduate of Huntington High School. He was a draftsman for several places in Huntington, including Memcor, Triad Utrad and Shuttleworth. He was a member of Hope Rising Church in Huntington. Larry loved racing Go Karts, watching races, and fixing the grandkids cars and working on lawnmowers.
Along with his wife, Pam, he is survived by one son, Trent Boyd, Huntington, IN; one daughter, Kristina (Terry) Beal, Andrews, IN; one brother, Michael E. Boyd, Huntington; and three grandchildren, Kylie (Josh) Higgins, Warsaw, IN, Tyler Tester, Indianapolis, IN, Jaclyn (Jack) Young, Fort Wayne, IN; and his beloved and faithful pet, Maggie.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jakob Boyd.
There will be a visitation on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service at McElhaney Funeral Home 715 N. Jefferson St, Huntington, IN 46750, with Pastor Scott Snodderly officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or Stillwater Hospice in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
