Juanita J. Anson, 91, of Warren, IN entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 2:07 p.m. surrounded by her loved ones. She passed away at Heritage Point of Warren.
Juanita was born in Jefferson Township, May 7, 1932 to Noble and Hattie (Arnold) Wesco.
Juanita graduated from Jefferson Township High School in 1950. She married the love of her life, Mark, December 31, 1950 and enjoyed 74 years together.
She was a homemaker, fine milker, wonderful mother and wife. A devout Methodist, Juanita followed her servant’s heart by working in various capacities in our community: Huntington County 4H’s first female tenure award winner and Leader for 20 years, Farm Bureau member, first woman Huntington County Community School Board member for 12 years, Andrews Lions Club member, and a longtime Sunday school teacher.
Along with her husband, Mark, she is survived by two sons, Arden Anson of Roanoke, IN, and Aaron (Joleen) Anson of Andrews, IN. She also leaves two brothers Wilbur (Roxie) Wesco and Dwight (Conchita) Wesco, both of Warren, IN, three sisters Barbara (Jim) Mills, Fort Wayne, IN, and Wilma (Kennard) Hensel, Huntington, IN. Juanita leaves behind ten grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Debra Gardner, February 2024, and daughter-in-law Karen Anson, as well as her sister Patricia Johnson.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 11am to 1pm at the Applegate Chapel, Heritage Point, 801 N Huntington Avenue, Warren, IN, with funeral services to follow at 1pm. Chaplain Ginny Soultz will preside.
The burial will then take place at Union Cemetery 3688 E. 400 N. Huntington, IN 46750. Immediately following the service.
