Joseph E. Deifenbaugh, age 81, of Lagro, IN, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.
Joseph was born on May 26, 1942, in Wabash, IN, to the late Hugh and Sara (Stewart) Deifenbaugh. He married Sharon Bolinger in 1971, and she survives and resides in Lagro, IN.
Joseph attended high school in Wabash and then served our country in the United States Army. He retired from Ford Meter Box in Wabash after working in assembly for 42 years. He was a member of United Church of God in Fort Wayne, IN.
Along with his wife, Sharon, he is survived by three sons, Joseph (Tonya) Deifenbaugh, II, Wabash, IN, Daniel Deifenbaugh, Timothy Deifenbaugh, both of Lagro, IN; one sister, Joyce Pemberton, Grove City, OH; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
To honor the wishes of Joseph there will be no calling or services.
A Private burial will be at a later time.
