Jonnie L. Hall, age 86, of Roanoke, IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.
Jonnie was born on April 1, 1938, in Cooper, TX, to the late Ernest Ray and Hazel O’Leta (Skinner) Wylie.
Jonnie graduated from Honey Grove High School in Texas, and during that time she was a rodeo queen. After graduating, Jonnie moved to Dallas, TX and soon became an airline stewardess for American Airlines. She was then a store owner and operator of Rockwall Lighting in Rockwall, TX. Jonnie enjoyed traveling and had been all around the world. Jonnie also enjoyed golfing and was an avid poker player. She was a social butterfly who loved being surrounded by friends and family.
Jonnie is survived by two sons, Steven Hall, Huntington, IN, David Hall, Dallas, TX; sister, Ann LaRue, Anna, TX; four granddaughters, Taryn Hall, Fort Wayne, IN, Aubrey Fletcher (Hall), Marion, IN, Taylor Campbell (Hall), Brandon, MS, and Chelsea Moore, Austin, TX; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Laurie Moore, and two twin sisters.
Jonnie will forever be remembered by her smile that would light up a room.
To honor the wishes of Jonnie there will be no services.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
