John "Jack" S. Kindler

John “Jack” S. Kindler, age 85, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Lutheran Life Villages of Pine Valley in Fort Wayne.

Jack was born on November 4, 1939, in Huntington, IN, to the late Harold “Studie” and Mary (Corcoran) Kindler. He married Connie Houser on August 24, 1963, and she survives and resides in Huntington, IN.  

Jack was a 1957 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School and served in the National Guard for six years. Jack was a Pressman and Pressman Supervisor at Noll Printing for 38 years and also worked at Renaissance in Auburn and Mignone in Huntington.  Jack was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1014.

Along with his wife, Connie, Jack is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Chad) Robrock, Lutz, FL; one son, Bret (Lisa) Kindler, Shelby, NC; one sister, Mary (David) Eckert, Huntington, IN; four grandchildren, Trae (Kimmy) Robrock, Caleb Kindler, Chandra Robrock, Mattie Kindler; and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Jake Robrock.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom Kindler, Jerry Kindler, Mike Kindler; and one grandson, Jayson Buzzard.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m., all at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, with Father Tony Steinacker presiding.

A private burial will be at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
