John "J.T." Thomas Stevens, Jr,

John Thomas “J.T.” Stevens, Jr., age 55, of Huntington, IN, died on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at The Waters of Huntington.

J.T. was born on November 1, 1969, in Huntington, IN, to John Stevens, Sr., and Debra (Reed) Arquette.  His mother preceded him in death.  His father survives.

J.T. was an experienced tradesman in construction and a forklift driver and an all-around good handyman. 

J.T. is survived by his father, John Stevens, Sr., Warsaw, IN; daughter Micayla (Laramie) Frame, Huntington, IN; one son, Jake Stevens, Huntington, IN; four brothers, Tony Stevens, Robert Stevens, Shadow Stevens and Joey Arquette all of Warsaw, IN; sister, Aliesha Stevens, Warsaw, IN; half-sister, Amy Jo Stevens, Warsaw, IN; and one granddaughter, Nola Frame.

He was preceded in death by one brother Billy Arquette.

 Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service led by Pastor Jason Fields, at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.

A private burial will be at a later date.
