JoAnn (Falk) Stoffel

JoAnn Stoffel, age 84, of Huntington, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, IN.  She was born on August 14, 1939, in Huntington, Indiana to the late Paul and Opal (Miller) Falk.   

JoAnn was the Office Manager for many years at Gordon, Bendall, Branham Law firm in Huntington.  She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. 

JoAnn is survived by two sons, Terry J. Stoffel, John A. (Michele) Stoffel, both of Huntington, IN; two daughters, Kristinia “Kris” Wiley, and Cynthia “Cindy” Betts, both of Huntington, IN; one brother, John (Carol) Falk, Huntington, IN; three sisters, Juanita “Nita” Yordy, Huntington, IN, Mary Ann (Robert) Boyer, Marion, IN, Kay Dawn (Robert) Fisher, St. Cloud, FL; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jean Falk; and her longtime companion, Paul Merritts.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 9am to 11am with a Funeral Service to begin at 11am all at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, with Fr. Tony Steinacker presiding.

A private burial will be later at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
