Jo Ellen (Smith) Ehler

Jo Ellen Ehler, age 75, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at her residence.  

Jo was born on February 5, 1949, in Katy, TX, to the late Hugh and Dorma Faye (Nichols) Smith.

Jo was a 1968 graduate of Huntington North High School.  She was a hairdresser, waitress and retired from Kroger at Coventry where she worked in the deli. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2689 in Huntington.

Jo is survived by one son, Anthony P. Ehler, Huntington; one daughter, Kate (Jeff) Van Dyk, Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Booth, Huntington, and Debra Ann (Stuart) Frummer, Cochecton, NY.

To honor the wishes of Jo there will be no services.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
