Jo Ann (Kline) Dolby

Jo Ann Dolby, age 90, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Dolby was born on March 1, 1932, in Huntington, IN, to the late George Colston and Bernice (Heeter) Kline.   Jo Ann married Paul F. Dolby on October 10, 1958, and he survives and resides in Huntington, IN.

Jo Ann was a 1950 graduate of Huntington Township High School.  She worked as a telephone operator and was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of Christ the King Episcopal Church and a member of the ECW (Episcopal Church Women). Jo Ann loved being a mom, gardening, cooking, needlepoint, sewing, knitting, watching movies and reading.

Along with her husband, Paul, she is survived by two daughters, Amy Jo (Kevin) Fisher, Heidi Ann (Kent) Hathaway, both of Huntington, IN; one grandson, Colston Joe (Robin) Dolby, Manhattan, KS; one brother, Edward J. Kline, Huntington, IN; three sisters, Patricia Heaston, Fort Wayne, IN, Sue (Larry) Holloway, Lake Placid, FL, and Carmen K. (Bill) Oswalt, Huntington, IN.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Tyler Colston Dolby.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 1224 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, with Fr. Ted Neidlinger officiating.

A private burial will be at a later date.
