Jessie Jones

Jessie Jones, age 51, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his residence.        

Jessie was born on May 3, 1971, in Fort Wayne, IN, to John and Virginia (Hicks) Jones. His mother survives and his father preceded him in death.

Jessie attended South Side High School.  Jessie loved his nieces and nephews, playing video games, fishing, enjoyed woodworking, working on cars and an avid Colts fan.

Along with his mother, Jessie is survived by two brothers, Kevin (April) Jones, Bluffton, IN, Johnny Jones, Leesburg, AL; three sisters, Sandy Jones, Roanoke, IN, Rose (Phil) McKinley, Fort Wayne, IN, Marie (Gerald) Plake, Greentown, IN; and 12 nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service at McElhaney Funeral Home – Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke, IN, 46783, with Pastor Terri Sitzes officiating.

A burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke, IN.
